How to set up your Mobitel VPN
Four steps, roughly five minutes, and nothing to install from an app store.
- 1
Choose your LankaTunnel package
Pick a data plan on the packages page. The free 500MB Tester Plan needs no payment and activates immediately so you can check speed before paying.
- 2
Activate a Mobitel Work & Learn base plan
Open the Mobitel SelfCare App, go to Data → Work & Learn, and activate the plan that matches your budget. On an older SIM you can instead dial #170# for the 25GB or Non-Stop Work & Learn option.
- 3
Import your connection key
Your dashboard shows a single connection key. Paste it into your tunnel client — NetMod on Android, Windows or Mac — and connect.
- 4
Check your usage in the dashboard
Your LankaTunnel dashboard shows remaining data and days for the package at any time, and the connection pauses automatically when the quota is used up.
